CYCLE

My first experiment attempted to convert my poem into a public service announcement. That was pretty messy and incomplete so to prevent embarrassment, I will be keeping that product to myself. My second experiment I felt much more proud of. I created a sustainability blog, with college students as my audience, offering simple tips and lifestyle changes that could improve the health of the environment and support long-term use of our planet’s natural resources. I created this with the intention of making readers more conscious of how our daily decisions impact the communities and ecosystems on a global scale, all while proving that efforts to combat this are simple with lasting results. The link to this blog can be found here if you are interested.

My final experiment resulted in a very rough draft of a short story about a man given the choice to help himself or humanity at large. The idea came to me when I was considering plant-based diets and how they are scientifically proven to be beneficial to the environment, animals, communities worldwide, and your own personal health yet most people continue to selfishly indulge in animal products while turning a blind eye to a feasible (for most) solution.

The overall purpose of these experiments and my final project is to raise awareness of the problems most are hesitant to speak about due to the fact that the solutions tend to challenge several lifestyle choices followed by billions. I aim to inspire others to join the green side, it's more fun ;)

(Really though if you are looking for great vegan recipes...I'm your girl. Please ask me I love sharing)
