hi! i'm priscila
Welcome and thank you for embarking on this journey with me! In case you’ve been wondering more about me …
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan studying the environment, social justice, and writing. I am particularly passionate about indigenous rights, food insecurity, and the disproportionate concentration of toxic industries in minority communities.

Aside from my love for the planet and the living beings inhabiting it, I have a deep infatuation with creative writing. Since my early childhood, I have been writing poems about my emotional experiences and short stories dominated by animal characters and topics in the environment. I am currently in the process of creating a poetry anthology that I hope to publish within the next couple of years. I also enjoy painting, spending time outdoors, reading, and listening to music while sharing a vegan charcuterie board with loved ones.
Producing this site and the narratives that bring it to life has been quite the prolonged experience. Throughout this process I have learned a lot about myself and my connection to place.
Now, it's your turn.

I invite you to reflect on your "homes" to consider this question:

where does your heart lie?
